A- You are sure to enjoy a fun interactive experience that will get you playing your favorite songs with a perfect combination of theory and practice, and tailored to each individual student. Our program combines musical concepts at different levels, ear training, harmony, sight reading, composition, improvisation and more.
A- Not at all! Our program offers instruction in all styles of music, so no matter what style you enjoy or what you might like learning how to play, you can jump right in and start your lessons plan, custom made for your personality and taste.
A- 123 Rock offers music lessons in all major instruments. However, our most popular ones are Piano and Guitar. For a detailed list of available instruments, please contact us.
A- Lessons are to be paid in advance on a monthly basis. Payments are due on the 1st class of each month. Payments can be conveniently made by Cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, checks payable to “123 Rock”, or by credit card. Whichever is more convenient for you!
A- Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the class will be charged. After a class has been properly cancelled, the student is entitled to a makeup session based on the teacher’s availability or a credit towards a future lesson.
A- We do optional music recitals for friends and families of all the 123 Rock family once a year during the summertime. Students will prepare in advance to showcase what they have learned by performing a musical piece of their taste.
A- Depending if your lessons are at your home or at our studio, or what musical instrument you are planning to play, you might need to have one. Even though we carry extra instruments for you to try and play with during sessions, we highly recommend for you to get an instrument of your own so that you can follow the practice plan and get the most out of your experience.
A- 123 Rock School of Music is an approved vendor with Blue Ridge Academy, iLead Exploration, Golden Valley Charter School, Excel Academy, River Oaks Academy, and Epic Charter School.
A- Yes, at 123 Rock we offer gift packages which can be purchased in packs of 4 lessons up to a maximum of 20. These packages make the perfect gift for any occasion and they are a great gift idea for your friends, family and even yourself!
A- Private lessons are offered in 30, 45 and 60 minute session blocks. Our fees are $40, $55 and $70 respectively for lessons at our studio as well as online (Zoom, Skype, Google and FaceTime), and $45, $60 and $75 for in-home lessons. Additionally, we also offer a family/sibling discount ($10 for lessons at the studio or online, and $15 for lessons at home).
Group Lessons can be 30, 45, and 60 minutes long and are meant for groups of friends and families. For group lessons at the studio, the fees are $40, $55, and $70 for the first student and $15 for each additional student. For in-home group lessons, the fees are $45, $60, and $75 for the first student and $15 for each additional student.
Ensembles are 60 minutes long and its cost is $60 per student.
* For lessons in certain areas such as Malibu there is an additional $15 traveling fee.
