Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather outside and getting ready for the transition into what should be a fantastic summer!
After over a year of having our doors closed at the studio, we are happy to announce that we will be officially reopening and resuming lessons in person!
Starting this month, we will resume offering lessons at our studio and in-home lessons as well. Unfortunately, not every instructor will be available (at first) for lessons in person, but please let us know if you want to have in-person classes and look at all our available options.
We will, of course, continue offering virtual lessons for all those students and families who wish to continue taking lessons online.
We are also expanding our online services for one-on-one and group lessons worldwide. If you happen to have a friend anywhere in the world or a family member who wishes to take lessons or perhaps think about picking up an instrument again, please let us know. We’ll be happy to schedule a trial lesson for them.
For the time being and a safe reopening, we will require everyone to please wear a mask while at the studio until further notice or until the state mask mandate is lifted for indoor establishments.
FATHER’S DAY
This month we celebrate Father’s Day on June 20th, the same day summer officially begins!
Whether you are planning on celebrating Father’s Day with your loved ones this year one way or another, let’s look back at all the dad figures that have made an impact in our lives and have shaped who we are today. Father, grandpa, uncles, and friends, let’s take this opportunity to honor and thank them with a letter, a call, a song, loving thoughts, or a prayer, for all their hard work, for their dedication, their guidance, their love, and their unconditional support.
And for all you father’s out there, Happy Father’s Day!
SONGWRITING CHALLENGE REMINDER!
Last month, we began our Spring Songwriting Challenge, a fantastic opportunity to let our creativity run wild and use the power of our imagination to write an original piece of music!
If you’d like to participate and haven’t had a chance to write an original tune yet, it’s not too late! The songwriting challenge deadline for submissions is June 20th.
As a reminder, students must write an original song or piece of music which can be a melody, melody with harmony/chords, melody with lyrics, or a fully produced track with multiple instruments.
The event is open to all ages and in order to make your official submission, you can send either an audio or video recording of the musical piece/song to music@123rock.net by June 20th. You are welcome to include a picture of the song/piece as well if it is written in paper.
