We know these days with the kids home with no school, or extracurricular activities can be tough. But, they can also be a fun way of spending more time with your little ones and taking advantage of the resources you have at home to keep them entertained!

Below we will share fun music activities that are perfect for getting your kids up and moving without bringing down the house:
• Freeze Dance
Enjoy a game of “Freeze Dance” with their favorite songs. Ask children to dance as the music plays. Press the stop button at any time, and once the music stops, the children get to freeze in dancing positions!
Up-tempo songs present different challenges than smooth, and slow songs don’t, so use a variety of songs whenever you play to make the game more dynamic!
• Musical Charades
Musical Charades is an excellent game if you have older kids in the house. Jot down the names of well-known songs on small pieces of paper and put them into a container. Taking turns, each person pulls a piece of paper and acts out the song so others can guess what it is.
• Musical Hot Potato
Playing “Musical Hot Potato” is the perfect way of dealing with small or confined spaces. So, if you leave in an apartment (or don’t have a lot of room for playing), this is the game for you!
In a circle, play any song as the kids pass around a ball or stuff animal. Stop the music at any point during the song; the person holding the prop gets to answer a question (e.g., What is your favorite animal? Favorite color? Favorite food?).
• Musical Drawing
If your children are into arts and crafts, they will love this game! Choose a song with easy-to-understand lyrics. Give each kid a piece of paper and with paint, crayons, markers ask them to create a picture based on what they hear.
