We are very happy to announce that starting next week we will begin our Spring Songwriting Challenge!

We are inviting all our students to join the challenge and participate in this exciting opportunity. To participate, students must write an original piece of music! It can be submitted as either a melody, melody with harmony/chords, melody with lyrics, or a full produced track with multiple instrumentation.
The event is open to all ages and will be divided into three different age groups. Each group will have a winner which will receive a $30 digital Amazon gift card.
Group 1: 8 years of age and under
Group 2: 9 – 12 years of age
Group 3: 13 and up (yes, adults too, we have an 84-year-old student that would be participating as well)
• Be creative and most importantly, have fun!
• The song can have lyrics or it can be only instrumental, but it must have a title.
• The song must be written by you and only you, but you can of course work with your instructor in order to get ideas and guidance.
• Submission dates are April 6th – May 1st and the winner will be revealed the following week in May.
IMPORTANT
In order to make your official submission, you can send either an audio or video recording of the musical piece/song to music@123rock.net by May 1st and you are welcome to include a picture of the song/piece as well if it is written on paper.
