A Child Prodigy, Brenda has been singing ever since she could speak. Granddaughter of the Great Mexican Tenor Mariano Altieri, Brenda has spent over 10 years studying Classical and Opera pedagogy and repertoire as a lyric Soprano. She studied under Shigemi Matsumoto (Pavarotti) before continuing her studies in Testaccio, Rome. In addition to Classical and Opera, Brenda specializes in contemporary styles such as pop and jazz, as well as traditional Hispanic music such as Boleros and Rancheras. Brenda has experience singing in Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Latin. She has also, most recently covered the principal role of Pamina in Mozart’s Magic Flute with the CSUN opera. Prior to opera, Miss Osorio sang many title roles in musical theater including: Cinderella in Into the Woods, Cosette in Les Miserables, Velma in Hairspray, and covered Nina in In the Heights.
Brenda has transformed the lives of students of all ages. A transformative and highly intuitive teacher, Brenda has a particular knack for addressing and fixing technical issues and giving students the resources to unlock their true potential and help them develop as artists.
