Music in Thanksgiving is music to your ears. For most of us, Thanksgiving is a day that brings us together for an occasion of joy, peace, thankfulness, and happiness, which transcends all boundaries regardless of our background, ethnicity, beliefs or religion.

But think about it, looking at the current state of society and the world as a whole community, in what other instance can we all share the same space and unite as one without putting ‘ideals’ and dogmas that separates us? The answer believes it or not is Music.
Music unites, connects and reconnects, brings forth a unique and very articulate language of beauty, energy, love, passion, emotion, and sincerity. And what better time to bring music as an introduction to the holiday season than in such a unique occasion as it is Thanksgiving?
Whether you play an instrument or listen to music on a regular basis, there is no denying that music is enjoyable by everyone, and it just seems to be the perfect complement to what some consider the most important holiday of the year.
We have put together a small list of 11 different ways you can bring the joy of music and add that special touch to your Thanksgiving.

1- Live Music
Odds are at least someone in the family, or a friend in your party plays a musical instrument. Bring an instrument, play, sing and enjoy together!
2- Karaoke
Most likely someone in your family or one of your friends owns a karaoke machine, get ready to sing and laugh, isn’t Music supposed to be fun?
3- Spotify curated lists
From Top Hits to current trending music, this lists can help you match your mood and find precisely what you are looking for and strike a chord!
4- Apple Music curated lists
Very similar to Spotify, Apple Music will create customized lists based on the type of music and artists you like. A great way to get the groove going without the hassle of continually searching music to play.
5- Pandora
Whether you want a personalized radio station or a curated playlists, Pandora will bring hours of entertainment to match every scenario.
6- Radio Stations
If you still own a radio or happen to have online access (who doesn’t these days anyway?), then just turn it on and find the radio station to match your moment. After all, Radio is still the most popular outlet for listening to music.
7- Youtube Music Channel
Discover great music and add a musical background to your party while you watch videos on a screen. YouTube music channels is a great alternative to music on Radio or TV.
8- TV and online Music Videos
If you have cable or a TV app subscription package, then you probably have access to the impressive world of music videos. From VEVO and MTV to much more than offer the latest and not so new in music videos.
9- Concert on TV or DVD/Blue-Ray
It’s always enjoyable to watch a concert on TV, there’s something about watching the actual musicians on TV that changes the perspective when listening to music, sometimes for the best and sometimes for the worst. No matter what record or music player you have, as long as it plays music, it will always be a valid one.

Some save this for last when the spirits are high, and the stakes are low, sing aloud your favorite tunes, from old Folk and Irish favorites to modern hit songs. I promise you won’t be the only one singing.
